Information We Collect

When you contact us via our website or email, we collect contact information (such as your name, telephone number, email address, and any details you provide) so we can respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, provide our clinical services. We also use cookies and analytics technology to understand how the website is used and to improve it.

For a full account of what personal data we collect, our lawful bases for processing it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights, please refer to our Privacy Notice.

Security

We make best efforts to maintain the security of your personal information using appropriate technical and organisational measures. However, due to the inherent nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or from this website.

Standard email is not secure

Please do not send sensitive clinical details, copies of identity documents, payment card numbers, or other confidential information by ordinary email or via website forms. If you need to share sensitive information with us, please contact the practice and we will arrange a secure method (for example, our encrypted email service or a sealed letter to the practice address).

Notice Regarding Minors

This website is intended for adults. Users under the age of 16 should not submit personal information through this website without the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor has submitted personal information without your consent, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to remove the information.

Sharing of Information

Information may be shared among our clinical teams and with the third-party processors listed in our Privacy Notice where necessary to provide our services. We do not disclose personally identifying information to any other third party without your consent, except where required by law, regulation, or a relevant regulatory body.

Your Rights

You have the full set of rights granted to you under UK GDPR — including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You can also opt out of communications at any time by contacting us at info@londonurologyspecialists.co.uk or by calling 0300 302 0202. For full details — including how to make a Subject Access Request — see the Your Rights section of our Privacy Notice.

Liability for Content

The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. While we endeavour to keep the information accurate and up to date, we accept no liability for any errors or omissions in the content provided.

Important notice

Medical information on this website does not constitute clinical advice and should not be used as a substitute for consultation with a qualified medical professional. Always seek the advice of your doctor or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition.

No doctor-patient relationship

Browsing this website, reading our content, or sending us a general enquiry does not create a doctor-patient or therapeutic relationship between you and any of our consultants. A clinical relationship is established only once you have been formally accepted as a patient of the practice and a consultation has taken place. We cannot provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical advice via website forms, email, or telephone outside of a formal consultation.

Exclusion of Warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be available at all times, will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, London Urology Specialists shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses or damages arising from or in connection with your use of this website or reliance on any information provided herein.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Intellectual Property and Trademarks

All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on this website are the property of London Urology Specialists or their respective owners. Nothing on this website should be construed as granting any licence or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of the trademark owner.

Payment Terms

Payment is required in advance of all consultations and treatment. We do not have payment facilities on site, so settlement must be received before your appointment. Our team will provide payment details at the point of booking; if your payment is not received in advance, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Self-pay patients

Consultation and treatment fees are payable in full ahead of your appointment by bank transfer or by card over the phone. We are unable to accept payment on the day at our clinic.

Insurance excess and shortfall

Where treatment is funded through private medical insurance, the patient remains personally responsible for any excess, shortfall, or fees relating to treatment that the insurer has not authorised. Please confirm cover and any applicable excess with your insurer before your appointment or procedure.

Unpaid invoices

Where an invoice remains unpaid after our standard reminder process, the account may be referred to our debt-recovery partner. Full details of how this is handled are set out in our Privacy Notice.

Appointment Cancellation & Non-Attendance

We understand that sometimes situations change, and you may have to postpone or cancel your appointment. If you postpone or cancel and provide at least 1 full working day's notice, there will be no penalty or administration fee.

However, if you postpone or cancel with less than 1 full working day's notice, a cancellation fee of up to 100% may apply. We will make every effort to give your appointment to someone else, and if successful no charge will be made.

Non-attendance (DNA)

In the event you fail to attend your appointment without notifying us, you will be charged 100% of the consultation fee.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms.

General Provisions

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found by a court or competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remainder of these terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

No waiver

Our failure or delay in enforcing any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other provision, and shall not prevent us from enforcing the same or any other provision at a later time.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and London Urology Specialists in relation to your use of this website, and supersede any prior agreements, representations, or understandings.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
